I am a storyteller. I make art to express my fascination with the world as I see it. I am drawn to little things, interesting details and unexpected surprises easily ignored because they are so much a part of the fabric of everything we see and experience throughout the day. The images I make are my stories of those little things, sensed but perhaps not entirely visible when a photo was taken, but revealed by image manipulation processes. They tell of moments of discovery – of light and color, rhythm and texture, and the details of life around us that we sometimes forget to notice. My art is about making those seemingly invisible things visible and to celebrate them in vibrant color.
